Second Chance

Second Chance!!!

It’s another morning..
….. Again I have to go to office.

Ohh, this is me… I shouted having a glance on my snap in today’s news paper.
But what the HELL it is doing in the death column??

Strange…

One sec... Let me think, last night when I was going to bed I had a severe pain in my chest, but I don’t remember anything after that, I think I had a sound sleep.

Its morning now, ohh….. It’s already 10:00 AM, where is my coffee?
I will be late for office and my boss will get a chance to irritate me.

Where is everyone…??? I screamed.

“I think there is a crowed outside my room, let me check.” I said to myself.

So many people….. Not all of them crying…
But why some of them crying…

WHAT IS THIS??? I m laying there on the floor…

“I AM HERE” … I shouted!!! No one listen.
“LOOK I AM NOT DEAD” … I screamed once again!!! No one is interested in me.
They all were looking me on the bed.

I went back to my bed room.

“Am I dead??” I asked myself.

Where is my wife, my children, my mom-DAD, my friends?

I found them in the next room, all of them were crying… still trying to console each other.

My wife was crying… she was really looking sad.
My little kid was not sure what happened, but he was crying just coz his mom was sad.

How can I go without saying my kid that I really love him, I really do care of him. ??
How can I go without saying my wife that she is really most beautiful and most caring wife in this world..??
How can I go without saying my parents that I m … just because of u ??
How can I go without telling my friends that without them perhaps I have done most of the wrong things in my life… thanks for being there always when I need them… and sorry for not being there when they really need me..

I can see a person standing in the corner and trying to hide his tears…
Ohh… he was once my best friend, but a small misunderstanding made us part, and we both have strong enough ego to keep us disconnect.

I went there.. And offered him my hand, “Dear friend… I just want to say sorry for everything, we r still best friend, please forgive me.”

No response from other side, what the hell?? He is still preserving his ego, I am saying sorry… even then!!!
I really don’t care for such people.

But one sec…. it seems he is not able to see me!!!! He did not see my extended hand.
My goodness… AM I REALLY DEAD???

I just sat down near ME; I was also feeling like crying…

“OHH ALMIGHTY!!!! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME FEW MORE DAYS…”
I just wasn’t to make my wife, my parents; my friends realize that how much I love them.

My wife entered in the room, she looks beautiful.
“YOU R BEAUTIFUL” I shouted.
She didn’t hear my words, in fact she never heard these words coz I never said this to her.

“GOD!!!!” I screamed… a little more time plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..
I cried…

One more chance please… to hug my child, to make my mom smile just once, to feel my dad proud on me at least for a moment, to say sorry to my friends for everything I have not given to them, and thanks for still being in my life….

Then I looked up and cried!!!!

I shouted….

“GOD!!!! ONE MORE CHANCE PLEASE!!!!”

"You shouted in your sleep," said my wife as she gently woke me up. "Did you have a nightmare?"

I was sleeping….
Ohh that was just a dream….

My wife was there… she can hear me…
This is the happiest moment of my life…
I hugged her and whispered…. “U R THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CARING WIFE IN THIS UNIVERSE…. I REALLY LOVE U DEAR”

I can’t understand the reason of the smile on her face with some tears in her eyes, still I m happy…. J

“THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS SECOND? CHANCE.”

SO, Now it’s not late.. forget Ur Egos, Past… and Xpress Ur love to others… Be friendly… Keep smiling… for ever…….

Hackers steer clear of Google Chrome, say too challenging

At the CanSecWest security conference in Vancouver BC, hackers were invited to find and exploit holes in modern browsers. A popular target for hackers at this year’s conference was Safari on a Mac — definitely the lowest hanging fruit.

Charlie Miller explains that it’s not whether a product has holes (all of them do), its how easy it is to exploit those holes — and on a Mac, it’s very simple:

It’s clear that all three browsers (Safari, IE and Firefox) have bugs. Code execution holes everywhere. But that’s only half the equation. The other half is exploiting it. There’s almost no hurdle to jump through on Mac OS X.

He did mention, in his interview with Ryan Naraine, that Chrome was pretty much in another league. Their “sandbox” makes it extremely difficult to exploit — not only do you need to find a problem, but you also have to figure out how to get out of their Sandbox (an environment that has no access to anything on the computer).

There are bugs in Chrome but they’re very hard to exploit. I have a Chrome vulnerability right now but I don’t know how to exploit it. It’s really hard. The’ve got that sandbox model that’s hard to get out of. With Chrome, it’s a combination of things — you can’t execute on the heap, the OS protections in Windows and the Sandbox.

I might have this bug and I might be able to get code execution. But now you’r ein a sandbox and you have no permissions to do anything. You need another bug to get out of the sandbox. Now you need two bugs and two exploits. That raises the bar.

No hackers took on Chrome at the conference, simply because everything else was easier.

About Ugadi festival

About Ugadi

The New year festival or Ugadi comes close on the heels of Holi. While the strong colors of Holi start fading away, the freshness of spring lingers on with sprightliness all around. The flame of the forest (trees with bright red flowers that blossom during holi) are in full bloom signifying an affluent season. It is believed that the creator of the Hindu pantheon Lord Brahma started creation on this day - Chaitra suddha padhyami or the Ugadi day. Also the great Indian Mathematician Bhaskaracharya's calculations proclaimed the Ugadi day from the sunrise on as the beginning of the new year, new month and new day. The onset of spring also marks a beginning of new life with plants (barren until now) acquiring new life, shoots and leaves. Spring is considered the first season of the year hence also heralding a new year and a new beginning. The vibrancy of life and verdent fields, meadows full of colorful blossoms signifies growth, prosperity and well-being.

With the coming of Ugadi, the naturally perfumed jasmines (mallepulu) spread a sweet fragrance which is perhaps unmatched by any other in nature's own creation! While large garlands of jasmine are offered to Gods in homes and temples, jasmine flowers woven in clusters adorn the braids of women.

Predictions of the Year :

Ugadi marks the beginning of a new Hindu lunar calendar with a change in the moon's orbit. It is a day when mantras are chanted and predictions made for the new year. Traditionally, the panchangasravanam or listening to the yearly calendar was done at the temples or at the Town square but with the onset of modern technology, one can get to hear the priest-scholar on television sets right in one's living room.

It is a season for raw mangoes spreading its aroma in the air and the fully blossomed neem tree that makes the air healthy. Also, jaggery made with fresh crop of sugarcane adds a renewed flavor to the typical dishes associated with Ugadi. "Ugadi pachchadi" is one such dish that has become synonymous with Ugadi. It is made of new jaggery, raw mango pieces and neem flowers and new tanarind which truly reflect life - a combination of sweet, sour and bitter tastes!

Preparing for the Occasion :

Preparations for the festival begin a week ahead. Houses are given a thorough wash. Shopping for new clothes and buying other items that go with the requirements of the festival are done with a lot of excitement.

Ugadi is celebrated with festive fervor in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. While it is called Ugadi in A.P. and Karnataka, in Maharashtra it is known as "Gudipadava". On Ugadi day, people wake up before the break of dawn and take a head bath after which they decorate the entrance of their houses with fresh mango leaves. The significance of tying mango leaves relates to a legend. It is said that Kartik (or Subramanya or Kumara Swamy) and Ganesha, the two sons of Lord Siva and Parvathi were very fond of mangoes. As the legend goes Kartik exhorted people to tie green mango leaves to the doorway signifying a good crop and general well-being.

It is noteworthy that we use mango leaves and coconuts (as in a Kalasam, to initiate any pooja) only on auspicious occasions to propitiate gods. People also splash fresh cow dung water on the ground in front of their house and draw colorful floral designs. This is a common sight in every household. People perform the ritualistic worship to God invoking his blessings before they start off with the new year. They pray for their health, wealth and prosperity and success in business too. Ugadi is also the most auspicious time to start new ventures.

The celebration of Ugadi is marked by religious zeal and social merriment. Special dishes are prepared for the occasion. In Andhra Pradesh, eatables such as "pulihora", "bobbatlu" and preparations made with raw mango go well with the occasion. In Karnataka too, similar preparations are made but called "puliogure" and "holige". The Maharashtrians make "puran poli" or sweet rotis.

Season For Pickles :

With the raw mango available in abundance only during the two months (of April/May), people in Andhra Pradesh make good use of mangoes to last them until the next season. They pickle the mangoes with salt, powdered mustard and powdered dry red chilli and a lot of oil to float over the mangoes. This preparation is called "avakai" and lasts for a whole year.

Mangoes and summer season go hand in hand. Ugadi thus marks the beginning of the hot season which coincides with the school vacations. For the young ones, therefore, Ugadi is characterised by new clothes, sumptuous food and revelling. The air is filled with joy, enthusiasm and gaiety. Some people participate in social community gatherings and enjoy a tranquil evening with devotional songs (bhajans).

Kavi Sammelanam :

Kavi Sammelanam (poetry recitation) is a typical Telugu Ugadi feature. Ugadi is also a time when people look forward to a literary feast in the form of Kavi Sammelanam. Many poets come up with new poems written on subjects ranging - from Ugadi - to politics to modern trends and lifestyles.

Ugadi Kavi Sammelanam is also a launch pad for new and budding poets. It is generally carried live on All India Radio's Hyderabad "A" station and the Doordarshan,(TV) Hyderabad following "panchanga sravanam" (New year calendar) narrating the way the new year would shape up in the lives of people and the State in general. Kavis (poets) of many hues - political, comic, satirical reformist, literary and melancholic - make an appearance on the Ugadi stage. Ugadi is thus a festival of many shades. It ushers in the new year, brings a rich bounce of flora and fills the hearts of people with joy and contentment.

Waiver of charges for using other Bak's ATM wef 1.4.09

Please note that w.e.f 01st April, 2009 ATM cards can be used in any bank’s ATM for withdrawing cash without any charges.

RBI circular in this regard is provided below. Hope you find this useful.

For your information.

Customer charges for use of ATMs for cash withdrawal and balance enquiry

RBI/2007-2008/260
DPSS No.1405 / 02.10.02 / 2007-2008

March 10, 2008

The Chairman / Chief Executive Officer
(All Scheduled commercial banks including RRBs)

Dear Sir

Customer charges for use of ATMs for cash withdrawal and balance enquiry

1. Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) have gained prominence as a delivery channel for banking transactions in India. Banks have been deploying ATMs to increase their reach. While ATMs facilitate a variety of banking transactions for customers, their main utility has been for cash withdrawal and balance enquiry. As at the end of December 2007, the number of ATMs deployed in India was 32,342. Commensurate with the branch network, larger banks have deployed more ATMs. Most banks prefer to deploy ATMs at locations where they have a large customer base or expect considerable use. To increase the usage of ATMs as a delivery channel, banks have also entered into bilateral or multilateral arrangements with other banks to have inter-bank ATM networks.

2. It is evident that the charges levied on the customers vary from bank to bank and also vary according to the ATM network that is used for the transaction. Consequently, a customer is not aware, before hand, of the charges that will be levied for a particular ATM transaction, while using an ATM of another bank. This generally discourages the customer from using the ATMs of other banks. It is, therefore, essential to ensure greater transparency.

3. International experience indicates that in countries such as UK, Germany and France, bank customers have access to all ATMs in the country, free of charge except when cash is withdrawn from white label ATMs or from ATMs managed by non-bank entities. There is also a move, internationally, to regulate the fee structure by the regulator from the public policy angle. The ideal situation is that a customer should be able to access any ATM installed in the country free of charge through an equitable cooperative initiative by banks.

4. In view of this, RBI had placed on its website an Approach paper and sought public comments. The comments received have been analysed. Based on the feed back a framework of service charges would be implemented by all banks as under:

Sr.No.

Service

Charges

(i)

For use of own ATMs for any purpose

Free (with immediate effect)

(2)

For use of other bank ATMs for balance enquiries

Free (with immediate effect)

(3)

For use of other bank ATMs for cash withdrawals

  • No bank shall increase the charges prevailing as on December 23, 2007 (i.e. the date of release of Approach Paper on RBI website)
  • Banks which are charging more than Rs.20 per transaction shall reduce the charges to a maximum of Rs.20 per transaction by March 31, 2008
  • Free - with effect from April 1, 2009.

5. For the services at (1) and (2) above, the customer will not be levied any charge under any other head and the service will be totally free.

6. For the service number (3) the charge of Rs.20/- indicated will be all inclusive and no other charges will be levied to the customers under any other head irrespective of the amount of withdrawal.

7. The service charges for the following types of cash withdrawal transactions may be determined by the banks themselves:

(a) cash withdrawal with the use of credit cards
(b) cash withdrawal in an ATM located abroad.

8. Please acknowledge the receipt of the circular. A copy of the circular issued to your branches on this subject may please be submitted to us in due course.

Yours faithfully

(TIPS & TRICKS) What are the potential trips/traps in the SCJP exam?

(TIPS & TRICKS) What are the potential trips/traps in the SCJP exam?

  • Two public classes in the same file.
  • Main method calling a non-static method.
  • Methods with the same name as the constructor(s).
  • Thread initiation with classes that don't have a run () method.
  • Local inner classes trying to access non-final variables.
  • Case statements with values out of permissible range.
  • Math class being an option for immutable classes!!
  • instanceOf is not the same as instanceof
  • Private constructors
  • An assignment statement which looks like a comparison if( a=true)...
  • System.exit() in try-catch-finally blocks.
  • Uninitialized variable references with no path of proper initialization.
  • Order of try-catch-finally blocks matters.
  • main () can be declared final.
  • -0.0 == 0.0 is true.
  • A class without abstract methods can still be declared abstract.
  • RandomAccessFile descends from Object and implements DataInput and DataOutput.
  • Map does not implement Collection.
  • Dictionary is a class, not an interface.
  • Collection is an Interface where as Collections is a helper class.
  • Class declarations can come in any order (derived first, base next etc.).
  • Forward references to variables give compiler error.
  • Multi dimensional arrays can be sparse i.e. if you imagine the array as a matrix, every row need not have the same number of columns.
  • Arrays, whether local or class-level, are always initialized
  • Strings are initialized to null, not empty string.
  • An empty string is NOT the same as a null string.
  • A declaration cannot be labelled.
  • Continue must be in a loop (for, do, while). It cannot appear in case constructs.
  • Primitive array types can never be assigned to each other, even though the primitives themselves can be assigned. i.e., ArrayofLongPrimitives = ArrayofIntegerPrimitives gives compiler error even though longvar = intvar is perfectly valid.
  • A constructor can throw any exception.
  • Initializer blocks are executed in the order of declaration.
  • Instance initializer(s) gets executed ONLY IF the objects are constructed.
  • All comparisons involving NaN and a non-Nan always result in false.
  • Default type of a numeric literal with a decimal point is double.
  • Integer (and long) operations / and % can throw ArithmeticException while float / and % will never, even in case of division by zero.
  • == gives compiler error if the operands are cast-incompatible.
  • You can never cast objects of sibling classes (sharing the same parent), even with an explicit cast.
  • .equals() returns false if the object types are different. It does not raise a compiler error.
  • No inner class can have a static member.
  • File class has NO methods to deal with the contents of the file.
  • InputStream and OutputStream are abstract classes, while DataInput and DataOutput are interfaces.

MENSTRUAL CYCLE - LADIES DO NOT IGNORE!!!! AND GUYS THIS MIGHT HELP SOMEONE U KNOW!!

Recently this past week, a 31-year-old newly graduated student, with a
doctoral degree about to start her new career as a Doctor, was flown
into a nearby hospital, because she passed out.

They found a blood clot in her neck, and immediately took her by
helicopter to the ER to operate.

By the time they removed the right half of her skull to relieve the
pressure on her brain, the clot had spread to her brain causing severe
damage.

Since last Wednesday night, she was battling. They induced her into a
coma to stop the blood flow.

They operated 3 times. Finally, they said there was nothing left that
they could do.

They found multiple clots in the left side of her brain.

The swelling wouldn't stop, and she was on life support.

She died at 4:30 yesterday. She leaves behind a husband, and a 2yr old
Brandon and a 4yr old Justin.

The CAUSE of DEATH - they found was a birth control pill she was taking
that allows you to only have your period 3 times a year...

They said it interrupts life's menstrual cycle, and although it is FDA
approved... shouldn't be -

So to the women in my address book - I ask you to deal with your period
once a month -

so you can live the rest of the months that your life has in store for
you.

Please send this to every woman you know - you may save someone's
life...

Remember, you have a CYCLE for a reason!

For Your Information:

The name of this New Birth Control pill is Lybrel.

If you go to
Lybrel.com you will find at least 26 pages of information
regarding this drug.

The Second Birth Control pill is, Seasonique.

If you go to the website
Seasonique.com you will find 43 pages of
information regarding this drug.

The warnings and side effects regarding both pills are horrible.

Please, please forward this information to as many daughters AND sons,
co-workers, friends and relatives. Several lives have already been
changed.

BEST TOP 10 TIPS TO INCREASE SPEED OF UR PC

1>> Minimizing: If you want to use several programs at the same time then minimize those you are not using. This helps reduce the overload on RAM.

2>>Drivers: Update your hardware drivers as frequently as possible. New drivers tend to increase system speed especially in the case of graphics cards, their drivers are updated by the manufacturer very frequently!

3>>Start Up Programs: Windows can be slowed down when programs run on start up. To eliminate this, check your Start up folder. You can access it from the start menu: Start, Programs, Start Up. Another way to eliminate programs from loading even before Windows actually starts is by doing the following: Click on Start, then Run. Type msconfig. It will take quite a long time for this program to load, but when you finally see it on your screen, explore the different tabs. They all have to do with how quickly your PC boots, so select what you want, and uncheck what you don't want!

4>>Refresh the Taskbar without restarting: If you in some way change the taskbar, either in Regedit or elsewhere, you can refresh the task bar without restarting. Hold down Ctrl Alt Del, and double click on Explorer. Say Yes to close Explorer, but no to closing Windows. This will refresh the Taskbar and system tray.

5>> Faster Start-Menu Access: Go to the Start menu and select Run. Now type Regedit and hit Enter. The Registry Editor will appear on the screen. Now, open the folder HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. You should see a MenuShowDelay value. If you don't then do the following: right click on a blank space in the right pane and select New\String. Change the name in the new value to MenuShowDelay. Now that we have the MenuShowDelay value, double click on it and enter 0 in the value data field. This sets the start menu delay to 0 milliseconds.

6>>Restart only Windows: When restarting your PC, hold down Shift to only restart Windows rather than the whole system which will only take a fraction of the time.

7>>Defragment Often: defragment your drive, data is physically arranged on the drive so that applications will load faster.

8>> Wallpapers: They slow your whole system down, so if you're willing to compromise, have a basic plain one instead!

9>>Fonts: When Windows starts, it loads every single font in the Fonts folder. Therefore, the more fonts you have, the slower the booting process. To get rid of unwanted fonts, simply go to the Fonts folder under c:\windows and remove whatever you don't want. Fonts that have a red letter 'A' as their icon are system fonts, so don't delete them.

10>> Quick CD Eject: Instead of pushing the button on your drive, right-click your CD drive letter in My Computer and click on Eject. This will also remove any icons that have become associated with the CD drive.

Wonderful one minute

Wonderful one minute...

One smart Software engineer and his Project Manager were traveling towards Pune in a train.
Just Opposite to their seat, a beautiful girl was sitting along with her grand ma.
With in some time, Eye-Eye interactions started between Our Software engineer & that girl.

After some minutes, train started moving in to a tunnel and it was very dark.
Suddenly, every body heard a Kiss sound followed by a sound of slapping.
Every body remained silent, when the train came out of the tunnel.

Grand ma thought that," The Guy is a rogue; how dare he is? He has kissed my grand daughter! But my Grand daughter is genuine; she immediately slapped that guy."

PM thought that," I can't believe that this guy has kissed that girl! But it is unfair that she slapped me by mistake"

That girl thought that," I feel happy, when that guy kissed me, but I feel sorry that my grand ma has slapped him".

Finally, the Software engineer thought?

"This one minute in my life is wonderful, it hardly comes...because, at a time I have kissed a girl and also I have slapped my PM."

'Drunk' policewoman crashes car, killing four Indian techies

New York, Mar 23 (PTI) Four Indian IT students, including three girls, were killed and another was injured when an off-duty and apparently drunk policewoman crashed her car into their vehicle on a highway in the US State of Missouri. The five, all hailing from Andhra Pradesh and studying for MS degree in information technology in Eastern Illinois University, were returning home on a Honda Accord when the policewoman's SUV, speeding on the wrong lane, hit them head-on in Des Peres, authorities said.

Four of the students -- Anusha Anumolu (23), Satya S Chinta (25), Anita Lakshmi (23) and Priya Muppvarapu (23) -- died on the spot while 27-year-old Nitesh Adusumilli, who was driving the car, was seriously injured. The policewoman, identified as 41-year-old Chrissy Miller, was off-duty from her job at the Sunset Hills Police Department.

She is also in a critical condition at St John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, media reports said. "They had a plan to go to an Indian restaurant and going to bowling alley, and they were returning back to home," said Suren Pathuri, an acquaintance of the victims.

He said the bodies of the four victims will be sent to India. "We do suspect that alcohol may have played a part in this crash on Miss Miller's part," said Missouri State Highway Patrol Sergent Al Nothum.

"The investigation is ongoing," he said. PTI.

Short Story with a great moral - Good Morning

One day a fisherman got up very early in the morning.

There was not enough sunlight to get into the sea.

He saw a pack of stones to pass time.

He started throwing the stone into the sea.

While having the last stone in the hand, the sun came up then he saw that the stone was a diamond.

He felt for his misfortune of throwing all of them into the sea...

Boost Up Internet Speed Without Using Software

Above 90% computers all over the world run Windows... and hence another computer trick.

FACT
But do you know that about 20% of your internet bandwidth is reserved by Microsoft.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uses of Reserved Bandwidth
** Windows Automatic Updates rely on this reserved bandwidth.
** Fast loading Microsoft Websites
** Sending Error Reports
** Online Help support in Microsoft Office
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But this can be recovered back...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Remedy
** Start >> Run
** Type gpedit.msc
** This opens the Policy Editor
** Now, Local Computer Policy >> Computer Configuration
** Then, Administrative Templates >> Network
** Now, click on QOS Packet Scheduler
** Now, on Right hand side
** Double Click Limit reservable bandwidth
** Now in Setting Tab

***************************************************
It says : Not Configured
Reality : The Explain Tab says "By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection"

***************************************************

** So, on Setting Tab select Enabled
** Now, change Bandwidth limit (%) to 0 (Zero)
** Click OK !!!

That's All !!!

Best answer by B.E students during viva.....

This is best answer by B.E students during viva. >---------------------> This one is for those who had nightmares during their Engineering Viva's (EEEs and ECEs). They bring back fond memories for those who care to smile at the pastââ'¬Ã‚¦

************************************************************************************
Interviewer:
Why is a thicker conductor necessary to carry a current in A.C.as compared to D.C. ?
Candidate
: An AC current goes up and down (drawing a sinusoid) and requires more space inside the wire, so the wire has to be thicker.

************************************************************************************

External (to student) : "Why does a capacitor block DC but allow AC To pass through ?
Student:
See, a capacitor is like this ---| |--- , OK. DC comes straight, like this ----------, and the capacitor stops it. But AC,goes UP, DOWN, UP DOWN and jumps right over the capacitor!" ------------------- good one : - )

************************************************************************************

Interviewer:
How will you tell if that wall outlet carries AC or DC?
Candidate:
I will put my finger in. If it is pushed away, it is AC. If it gets stuck, it was DC.

************************************************************************************

Interviewer:
H! ow will you reverse direction of an Induction motor?
Candidate:
I will remove the four bolts at the x-ud, turn the motor around, and put back the bolts.

************************************************************************************

Interviewer:
How do you start a synchronous motor?
Candidate:
Vrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (in rising pitch)

Interviewer: Stop! Stop!
Candidate:
rrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (in falling pitch)

************************************************************************************

Examiner: "What is a step-up transformer?"
Student:
"A transformer that is put on top of electric poles."
Examiner (smiling):
"And then what is a step-down transformer?"
Student (hesitantly):
"Uh - A transformer that is put in the x-udment or in a pit?"
Examiner (pouncing):
"Then what do you call a transformer that is installed on the ground?"
(
Student knows he is caught-can't answer)
Examiner (impatiently):
"Well?"
Student (triumphantly):
"A stepless transformer, sir!"
