So no one told us 2008 was going to be this way

Most Our jobs are a joke,

Economy is broke

Our love life's DOA.

It's like we're always stuck in second gear

And it hasn't been Our day, Our week, Our month, or even Our year

But..

Friends were there for us...

So..

I don't promise the riches, the life or the high in 2009

All I promise is that...

Whatever comes your way...

 There will be a friend to see you through all year round...
